Shelly Johnson is passionate about helping others and finds great joy in trying new things and working towards solving problems.
Throughout her education and career, Shelly has been recognized for her leadership abilities and success at motivating students of all ages. Her great energy results in strong connections with Iowa schools, businesses and organizations.
She is a graduate of Wartburg College where she earned an elementary education degree with middle level, reading and coaching endorsements. She enjoys working with all students and is a nutrition educator for Next Step, delights in planning unique team-building experiences, promotes mindfulness and movement, and facilitates a purposeful poverty simulation.
She is grateful to be a part of the team at Next Step and is proud of the work they do.
Shelly enjoys being outdoors, adventuring with her family and taking the occasional break from life by attending live music events.
