Change the World
Margaret Mead said, “Never doubt that a small group of concerned citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” I believe those words wholeheartedly and see evidence that those concerned citizens are often young people.
Citizenship Public Adventures, from the National 4-H Council will help your girls channel their energy toward solving real problems in their community and the world. The guides will help them:
- change a piece of the world
- discover the possibilities of democratic citizenship
- build a commitment to taking action in new and exciting ways
Your group will plan and conduct a project that will create, change, or improve something that is valuable to you and many other people. The National 4-H Council offers a number of citizenship programs as well.
