CAS Elementary School Evaluation, 2009-10
This evaluation will lay groundwork for future assessment; it will be as unobtrusive as possible, while providing reliable information about program content and quality. This evaluation will also lay a foundation to track the progress of girls from 4th or 5th grade through high school.
The 2009-2010 assessments will consist of:
- External observations using the Youth Program Quality Assessment tool (November-February)
- Meetings with facilitators and program managers from each group to set goals for the rest of the year (December-March)
- Development, collection, analysis and reporting of demographics and school data (qualification for free/reduced lunch, racial/ethnic background, grade level, involvement of special education services, attendance & ITBS scores) (due June 4)
- Facilitator Surveys collect anecdotal data and self assessment on progress toward goals (due June 4)
